TALENT: Director/Dramaturg

Hunter Bird is Brooklyn-based maker of new plays and musicals. He has directed new work at Ars Nova, Roundabout Theatre Company, Chicago Shakespeare Theater, The McKittrick Hotel, Signature Theatre with Columbia University, The Getty Villa, 59E59, Lincoln Center Education, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and the Musical Theatre Factory. Currently developing new projects with Nikko Benson, Andrea Daly, Kate Douglas, Scott Gilmour & Claire McKenzie, Marcy Heisler & Zina Goldrich, Jessica Huang & Ashley Hanson, Oliver Houser, Chas LiBretto, Madeline Myers, Angela Sclafani, and Zack Zadek. Associate and assistant directing credits include the Pre-Broadway run of Clybourne Park, The Flaming Lips’ musical Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots, and work on Broadway and across the country with Lynne Meadow, Des McAnuff, Pam MacKinnon, Doug Hughes, Graciela Daniele, Gilbert Cates, Eve Ensler, and the National Theatre of Scotland.
